"THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING! Our guests and I are still talking about the phenomenal job that you did! Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day! You were a highlight of our big day! We truly appreciate all that you did to help make the night special, to keep everyone on the dance floor, and to customize for us!! Rob was super helpful leading up to the event and the entire band was throughout the night, no stress! The band went above and beyond for us, even allowing my brother to sing as a guest for the father/daughter dance! We have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests since! Thanks for the good time and quality! We recommend this band to everyone for any occasion!!"

"If you are looking for a band I would HIGHLY recommend Diablo Sandwich Band! They are an absolute pleasure to work with. Chris made it so easy for me to organize the music for the wedding. Everyone was saying how nice it was to see a live band rather than a DJ. People are still talking about how FANTASTIC the music was. I had seen them play in New Hope and a friend of mine had them at his wedding. They were wonderful and made my day incredibly special."

"This band was FANTASTIC! All the guests were raving, they were the cherry on top of the sundae of our beautiful wedding! Chris was a pleasure to work with, he expressed his sincere desire to make our party one to remember and it certainly was! Very, very happy, worth every penny. I had never seen them before, just read a couple of reviews and that they were voted one of the top ten bands that play weddings in the Philly area by the Knot magazine, so I rolled the dice and I'm so glad I did! They have a good website that has some tracks and videos to listen to/watch. They played all the songs I asked for and the rest was a great mix, the dance floor was crowded for the entire wedding. They are all extremely talented and experienced musicians and vocalists. They even played an encore after the last dance. Even though they are a large band of ten, the volume level was perfect and didn't overwhelm the venue space (our wedding had around 115 guests). The venue's co-ordinator expressed to me that she also found them friendly and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the Diablo Sandwich Band, in my opinion with them you can not go wrong!"

"We loved this band!!!!!!!!!!! They totally rocked and made our reception. All of our guests raved about the band. They played all the songs we requested. They knew how to work the crowd. They got people on the dance floor before the main course. They were a really good value… They are the best band!"

"A little more than a decade ago, an eight-piece wedding band made a dirty deal with the devil at a sandwich shop in Jersey. The pact:Eight mortal souls for the coveted title of "Best Wedding Band in the Universe."
The covenant was consecrated over a Turkey club.
Ever since that fateful day, the group has been known as THE DIABLO SANDWICH BAND, and has ruled the Delaware Valley Wedding Circuit with an iron fist, leaving trails of dead wedding bands and half-eaten hoagies in their proverbial wake.
Beloved by Beach Haven's finest since their inception (a fact that has led this reporter to believe that the Prince of Darkness may hail from somewhere down Centre Street) The Diablo Sandwich Band's seasonal visits herald mid-summer soirees of satanic proportions.
Stop by Buckalew's on Saturday and see for yourself: Diablo Sandwich Band really is the best wedding band in the universe, even if they don't actually play weddings."
(Diablo Sandwich adds - actually, we do play weddings...)

"A party was in full roll in New Hope - in the heat of late August. Young professionals and empty nesters, seeking refuge from the sweltering summer night, flocked to Havana 's in New Hope to relax and dance. A 1940s style big band was swinging to Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon" as friends cozied up in any of Havana 's many intimate seating areas, cushy nests of couches and chairs that give this hot spot its distinctly lounge-like atmosphere.
A few margaritas later, the crowd is energized when a funk band takes the stage to play a seamless series of favorite tunes like James Brown's "I Feel Good" and "Brick House" by the Commodores. Soon, dancers welcome the alterna-pop stylings of Blink 182 and the Fountains of Wayne, and even those in the loft overlooking the main floor are moved to bounce up and down like teenagers. Throughout the entire evening, the personnel on stage have not changed.
The Diablo Sandwich Band's set list is impressive, to say the least. Offering everything from disco to Duke Ellington, it has something for everyone. They even play "Copacabana" because (for better or for worse) there's always someone in the crowd who likes Barry Manilow. Front man Chris Walinski describes "the Diablo Sandwich Experience" as a "four-hour happy hour," and from the looks of the crowd he couldn't be more accurate. The crowd dons shiny plastic Mardi Gras beads as they shake their Groove Things or Jump, Jive and Wail, Long Island Iced Teas in hand.
The music propels the party forward as the musicians smile and laugh with the audience, singing along during a group of songs that includes "Sedated" by the Ramones and "Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes. The atmosphere calms during an impressive version of Etta James's "At Last My Love Has Come Along." The dance floor is filled with swaying couples made misty by a combination of vodka tonics and the rich, soulful voice coming from a young lady who, up to now, has been playing auxiliary percussion.
Slaves in the corporate office world by day (Diablo's band members do everything from pharmaceutical sales to accounting,) each one is a versatile musician by evening. The band features two sax players, a trumpet, keys, guitar, bass, drum kit, and auxiliary percussion. Five members sing lead, many double up on instruments, and everyone sings back up. In addition, almost every player has an understudy of sorts. This versatility has undoubtedly contributed to the group's longevity and success.
The Diablo Sandwich Band has been around for 11 years, having started as an acoustic duo that played covers on the bar scene. Now the band has a loyal following of people from the tri-state area, including New Hope , Philadelphia , and especially the LBI club circuit. They also play a lot of private parties, especially weddings.
The Diablo Sandwich Band is a chameleon of a group who adapts perfectly to the style of whatever genre they are playing in a given moment. Walinski says: "When people dance and sing, that's all that matters." The Diablo Sandwich Band came to make a party, and party we did."

"On Sunday, head over to Buckalew's and witness the annual Memorial Day weekend phenomenon that occurs when the legendary DIABLO SANDWICH BAND holds sway, and the entire population of the Island comes out for the party. Allow me to explain. Whenever the Diablo Sandwich Band performs at Buckalew's, hordes of beautiful women descend onto the dance floor. Where do they come from? Where are their clothes? Where are their husbands? To this day, our staff here at The Islander still cannot answer these complex questions. In fact, some of us have become husbands as a direct result of attending a Diablo Sandwich Band show, so we are no longer allowed to go at all. Expect to hear everything from Sinatra to Buffet to Sublime to Green Day"

"Book them NOW! This is an incredible band! I was super excited they were a huge part of my wedding. My maid of honor and my mother were secretly working with them behind my back and conducted the most unique toast ever which incorporated the band playing the Sugar Hill Gang song"Apache (Jump on it)".....lyrics were changed from Jump on it to" Just kiss him/her". Also, one of my special song request's was the Daft Punk song " One more Time". I've never heard it covered before and thought it might of been an odd request, but DSB totally nailed it.They are great to work with, are extremely professional and passionate about making great music. Music was one of my top priorities for the wedding,so I could not have been any more pleased. My guests are still in awe about how great they were, any time I reminisce about the wedding, the next comment from someone is " THE BAND WAS AMAZING!!!". I so enjoyed them that I wish I could hire them for every occasion, but instead will try to see them perform at a nearby event, just to hear them again:) Thank you DSB!"

"We love the Diablo Sandwich Band! I think a lot of couples underestimate the importance of finding entertainment for their wedding, but we realized that a bad DJ can ruin an otherwise fantastic evening! So, when my dad heard the Diablo Sandwich Band playing at the a bar in Long Beach Island one evening and found out they did weddings, he suggested we hire them. I couldn't have been happier! They learned our wedding song which wasn't normally in their repertoire (You Set my Soul on Fire), and did an amazing job with it! All of our guests loved them, and they even worked with my dad to surprise me with a lovely father-daughter song. They had a saxophone player and pianist playing during our cocktail hour, which was wonderful-- just enough to set the mood but not so intrusive that guests couldn't hear each other. Andrea, the lead singer, did a wonderful job with all genres of music, and also did a great job MC'ing! Give this talented band a shot! If they can't get even the most reluctant dancers on your guest list to kick up their heels and have a good time, I don't think anyone can!"

"Diablo Sandwich Band did an absolutely wonderful job at our wedding! They learned the songs we requested and nicely handled the flow of the night. The mix between classics, old throwbacks and new hits kept everyone happy and on the dancefloor. All our guests were on the dance floor and continue to tell us what a great time they had! Definitely recommend Diablo Sandwich Band if you want classy tunes for your first dance but also want the variety of a great party atmosphere to dance to. Well worth the expense over a DJ and the band played all night long!!"

"The Diablo Sandwich Band rocked!! They made our wedding an unforgettable night. Chris was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with during the planning process, and he was very skilled as a master of ceremonies during the reception. We had seen the band play several times before in a more informal setting, and while they were amazing then, they blew us away at the wedding. Their vocals and skills with the instruments are truly exceptional (big shout out to the horns section!); they are much more impressive than the typical wedding band! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and our guests couldn't stop raving about them. Several band members even played live music and sang during the cocktail hour. DSB is a very fun, VERY talented band that will take an event to the next level. Far more reasonably priced than other bands in our area, and far better quality as well. Aside from the groom, they were by far the best part of the wedding...highly recommend!"

"My daughters wedding was 08/28 and the band was phenomenal. Very professional, great talent, and our guests never stopped dancing. They played during the before the ceremony, after it, at the cocktail hour and during the reception. Couldn't have had a better band. We are going for dinner at Havana's tonight just to see them again. You can't go wrong if this is the band you pick."

"This is the best band EVER!!! People are still talking about how great the music was at our wedding! These guys made the entire party! They are a bar band that is focusing more on events like weddings. They played everything we wanted and they had no problem playing "The odd couple" for us when we entered the room! They had a few surprises for us during the ceremony - very interactive, sounds is great! The best value for your money when planning your wedding!."
